internet french property

you do not have a property investment expert to see why so many people bought houses in France in the last twenty years. Over time, all real estate has enormously in price. But that was then. Is French property investment still a viable option, or are the good times gone?

The answer depends on where you are now and what you want your investments to reach. There are still places in France, which is likely to be a strong growth, but the day of the fast buck has. If you have a good return over time, I would say that the French property market has something for you, but if you're looking for something to buy and sell, expect for a 15 or 20 percent profit in one year or two, forget it.

There are many leaseback deals and potential investment opportunities exist in new build homes and developments in the community large tourist areas like the coast and the Alps, but you have much money to invest primarily in providing advice and a good accountant to see whether these tax efficient for you. It is not an area I'm qualified observations.

For normal people like you and I are real estate investment returns in two areas: the renovation and vacation rentals. So let's look at a little more attention.

There are still many opportunities for real estate renewal in France. There are houses all over the place! But they are a good investment?

Good for the beginning, in general, it is much cheaper than new ones renovated. That is the reason why there are so many tumble-down properties to French, many of the French do not want the burden and are more satisfied with a new house. One would think that would be good news for foreign buyers looking for a renovation project.

It is, and it is not. There are certainly enough availability and prices in many areas are still useful. The difficulties arise in assessing how much work is necessary and what it will cost. Even if you're a builder, plumber or electrician, French are different. Twenty years ago, they were very lax, but now you have certified installers for this and that. French craftsmen are almost without exception very good at their craft - but at a price. You must be very careful not to jump, which looks like a possibility to find, but it is a money pit. You can safely do so, especially if you are ready to make your hands dirty, but make sure that it is the head that rules, not your heart!

So what about vacation rentals? Is this the best way to make good real estate investment?

If you are ready to leave it to others, you will certainly be some of the costs and, over time, the French property market is still heading upwards (if not on the high proportion of a few years ago). Once again it is a long term investment.

That in brief is the secret of the French property investment at the moment. If you are looking for and the return, other sources probably better options. But if you're thinking of buying in France anyway, and steer you away from the hotspots (coast, the Alps, Dordogne), you will find a lot of properties that are obliged to increase in value over the years and you will probably be with a great time, while they are doing!
