Although they hate to admit it, Baby Boomers are soon to be seniors. If you are a builder, this can mean more revenue for you, but you have to do some target marketing to attract Boomers to your home.
The first thing you need to do is your model homes stand out, because if nothing else, Baby Boomers are savvy and careful shoppers. The average time spent searching for a new home among boomers is eight months, that is much more than in any other segment of the market. Boomers know what they want, and is near to a year to find it, if necessary, so that your house must be their desire and they start to take action.
If talks with potential buyers Boomer home, it is important to find out how long they live in it for the time at home. This information can yield valuable clues to what parts of their way of life is very important to them. If they lived in a home for a long time, there were things in general about the house, room, or neighborhood, considerable appeal. Boomer women expect great amenities in the kitchen as well. Many of them were full-time career, and they view retirement as an opportunity for the culinary arts she never had time for during their working lives. Imprint these women with a range of gadgets and high functionality. For example, a new water filtration system distributes hot and cold water from a faucet.
You should see this rapidly growing segment of buyers. Baby boomers often have money and they are ready for them to get what they want, what could be their last home purchase.
